The 32 London Districts of the NEU will be holding a demonstration in central London on the 1st of February. Camden will be a part of this. There will also be a social event the night before at The Pineapple pub in Kentish Town.

Tuesday 31st January
Camden NEU has booked the upstairs room of The Pineapple pub in Kentish Town from 5:00pm. We would love for you and other members from your school to come down. We will be providing Thai snacks and some drinks.
Whilst there, you can meet members from other schools and make some placards for the demonstration the following day. There will be lots of pens and card provided. Please be aware that the room can only accommodate 60, so please get down early if you can.
Wednesday 1st February
Please make your way down to Cavendish Square (behind John Lewis) for 11:00am and look for the Camden NEU banner. If this is the first time you have been to such an event, come with some colleagues and introduce yourself to others who are there.
We will then head over to the BBC for 11:45am to join the march down Regent Street to Whitehall. Bring placards and make plenty of noise. This should be a celebration of the profession and is vital for bringing public attention to our campaign.
